The knowledge acquired over the years allows us to manage other coating processes such as:
- Chemical nickel-plating
- HVOF for carbide coating
- Plasma for oxides coating (ceramic materials)
The chemical nickel-plating is a deposit with high resistance to corrosion, wear, hardness and anti-friction. The process is chemical and not electrolytic, which makes it possible to obtain a coating of extremely uniform thickness regardless of the geometry of the piece. Materials such as carbon and stainless steels, cast iron, copper, brass and aluminum can be coated.
The HVOF process (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) is used to improve or restore the surface properties / dimensions of a component. The melt filler materials can be multiple and are sprayed on the surface by a flow of gas at high temperatures and speeds, producing a thick coating that can be grind to obtain a quality surface finish.
Plasma metallization uses the high plasma energy to melt a filler material in powder form. Its main applications concerning ceramic coatings.
The commitment of Cromo Friuli extends to the Surface Finishing business network, which brings together 11 companies from FVG in the metal finishing sector.
